Saubermacher – the plastic waste sorting expert
For more than 35 years, Saubermacher has been working on new solutions and strategies to optimise waste management and disposal. The company’s latest guiding principle of Zero Waste aims to process and make all waste recyclable. Their goal is to find solutions for material recycling or thermal utilization for all waste streams to avoid waste ending up in landfills. This way, a high percentage of the starting product or material can be returned to the production cycle, and the impact of waste on the environment can be reduced.

Saubermacher has been operating a high-tech sorting plant for plastic waste at its location in Graz, Puchstraße since 2007. With its state-of-the-art technical equipment in addition to the combination of mechanical and automated sorting systems, this plant offers the highest quality standards and enables a precise separation of plastic waste. In addition to packaging materials, commercial waste is also treated with improved benefits for environmentally friendly recycling.
The seal of quality was awarded on 26 September 2011.
