The beery tasing beer from Graz

Beer has been brewed in the Puntigam area of Graz since 1478. Every year around a million hectolitres of beer are still brewed here today, making Puntigamer Beer one of the most popular of all brews in Austria. Here, we believe in the importance of enjoying life in good company and
in true beer culture. With its motto “the beery beer”, Puntigamer is a truly classic brewery. It also offers the special premium brew “Panther” and “Winter Beer”, the perfect cool drink for the winter season.

The brewery experience tour presents the fascinating story of how “the beery beer”, is brewed – from the selection of first class materials through to the serving of the first class foaming favourite of Austrians everywhere – and all in a memorably entertaining and informative manner. This unique opportunity to experience all the master brewer production steps live, with everything clearly explained in print and on film, is the ideal introduction to the connoisseur tasting of beer wort or the delightfully fresh young beer. This fun and educational encounter with beer production will be a day to remember. In addition to learning about brewing, you will hear the story of this historic brewery and its great significance for the region as well as about its key position in the Austrian Brau Union Brewery Group of today.

Experience tours:

• Guided tours for groups (10 - 60 people) are available Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm by appointment. Individuals can visit the brewery every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
• Please use public transportation to get to the brewery if possible. Car and bus parking is limited.
